Project description
Within the 'De Paltrok' project in Zaandam, our engineering assignment consisted of the structural design of the wide-slab floors from the ground floor up to and including the fourteenth floor. We provided the structural calculations, engineering drawings, and digital production files for the prefabricated wide-slab floors.
De Paltrok is a large-scale residential development in Zaandam, just a few minutes from Amsterdam and with excellent public transport connections to the city centre.
The project comprises three residential blocks:
- Block H – 82 apartments
- Block E – 15 apartments
- Block F – 35 apartments
In total, the project comprises 132 modern apartments, complemented by commercial spaces for offices and service functions. A green courtyard is being created above the integrated parking facility, offering residents an attractive communal outdoor space. All apartments are designed according to the latest standards regarding sustainability, energy efficiency, and living comfort.
