A powerful new beginning: Schijns Structural Engineering charts an independent course

With the establishment and launch of Schijns Structural Engineering, founder Eric Schijns marks an important milestone. Following the initial founding of Schijns Engineering in late 2023 and a subsequent period of collaboration within a general partnership, the decision was made to chart a new course as a fully independent and specialized engineering firm.
The origin and experience
The foundation for entrepreneurship was laid in November 2023. After having built up years of valuable experience in the construction sector, Eric Schijns MSc took the leap into entrepreneurship at that time by registering with the Chamber of Commerce in Roermond. A memorable moment that marked the start of his own vision on structural design, BIM modeling, and automation. Focus on the future
To serve clients even more effectively, Schijns Structural Engineering is now continuing its activities independently. The focus remains unchanged on high-quality structural calculations, 3D BIM modeling, and the engineering of prefabricated concrete structures, including digital machine control.
